Remediation of Oil Impacted Areas

The studies are aimed at understanding the aspects, diagnoses and prognoses of environments impacted by oil activities and application of remediation processes. Bioremediation and natural attenuation are a priority for their ecologically correct aspects. For the practical teachings of this line of research are used the Laboratories made available by the Research Groups of UFBA members of the Program and partnerships with national and international laboratories.

Geochemistry and Ecosystem Assessment

Works focused on the relationship of Geochemistry with the processes of environmental and ecosystem risk assessment through the integration of physical, chemical, biological and human aspects. For the practical teachings of this line of research are used the Laboratories made available by the Research Groups of UFBA members of the Program and partnerships with national and international laboratories.
